The main contingent of people living in organizations providing special social services are persons with disabilities. Their number was 25496 people, or 61.1% of the total number of those served at the end of 2023.
At the end of 2023, the number of residents with disabilities with a violation of the musculoskeletal system was 4654 people (18.3%), with mental behavioral disorders - 19765 people (75.1%).
An organization providing special social services in a semi-hospital environment - a legal entity or a structural subdivision of a legal entity, regardless of the form of ownership, intended to provide special social services in conditions of long-term or temporary (up to 6 months) stay of service recipients in the organization;
An organization providing special social services in a hospital - a legal entity, regardless of the form of ownership, intended to provide special social services in conditions of round-the-clock permanent or temporary (up to three months) residence of service recipients in the organization;
An organization providing special social services in conditions of temporary stay - a legal entity, regardless of the form of ownership, intended to provide special social services in conditions of a round-the-clock temporary (for a period not exceeding one year) stay in an organization;
Organizations of a stationary type - medical and social institutions (organizations) intended for round-the-clock permanent or temporary (up to three months) residence of service recipients in a hospital (hereinafter referred to as organizations of a stationary type).
Organizations of a semi-stationary type - day care departments, territorial and rehabilitation centers, other organizations designed to provide special social services in conditions of long-term or temporary (up to 6 months) stay.
